VAUGHAN – On behalf of the National Ball Hockey Association of Canada and the High Performance Committee we are proud to announce the 2018 Men’s Team Canada roster for the World Ball Hockey Federation Championship being hosted in Moscow, Russia the week of June 12-17.
The 21-player squad is comprised of nineteen players, who have represented Canada on the junior or men’s international stage in prior tournaments and are joined by two newcomers to the program.
We are excited about the group of players we have selected and are confident that they all possess the qualities we were looking for in a gold-medal team,” said Mauro Cugini, General Manager. “This has been a long evaluation process throughout our Junior U20 and men’s programs and these players have worked hard with their clubs teams and at tournaments and will be ready to hit the floor in Moscow in the Team Canada jersey.”
Cugini continued, “our staff brings forth a strong work ethic and ball hockey background and we are confident in their abilities to prepare our athletes as we continue to work towards the 2018 World Championships.”
