The National Ball Hockey Association of Canada (NBHAC) High Performance Director, Stephen Dockerty is pleased to announce the appointment of the following General Manager’s for 2018.

The Junior Team Canada (JTC) program will be led by four General Managers.  The U16 returns one of the most decorated players and coaches in the sports history, Nelson Lajeunesse and we welcomes Stephen Dockerty as the Girls U20 Manager.

The program also returns the two individuals who have been with the international program for many years always returning with gold for the U18, Scott Jacobi and U20, Mauro Cugini.

Dockerty commented, “I am thrilled with the opportunity we have in the NBHAC.  Our first goal is to put together the best staff possible and in this regard believe that we have the opportunity to effectively merge the best and brightest within the sport.  I am truly impressed by the enthusiasm with the NBHAC.

He continued, ‘during my discussions it was very clear that they are committed to operating a professional organization and continuing on the path of building a winner.  To have a plan and to put all those aspects in place to work towards the goal is very important and along with the management of the program look forward to begin scouting and recruiting for the opportunity to wear the RED & WHITE and coming to know the group of talented players in Canada.”

The 2018 World Junior Ball Hockey Championships will be hosted in Europe the week of June 25 to July 1 with the host city announcement on September 15.
